A few weekends ago we went to Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef National Park. It was a blast. We ended up going in a 1972 VW van (fire engine red). To give you an idea of how it was, there were certain hill on the interstate that we dropped down to 25 mph. Here are some pictures of the trip.
On the way down there, we stopped and took a picture of this fake cop guy. I'd never seen thisbefore so we decided to pull over and see him.

Ryry, when are you going to bring me back my SNL vids??? haha anyhoo-- would you be up to hiking to Havasupai in September? We are trying to plan a trip, we think it would be a blast! We would go sooner but I broke my foot and have to stay off it for 6 weeks :(
