Vicious "Mormon" Fans in Salt Lake

I'm not sure if anyone heard about this ESPN commentator Ric Bucher making comments about Jazz fans. I felt it appropriate and blogworthy since the Jazz are in the playoffs. Salt Lake has been known as one of the noisiest and most difficult places to play in the NBA and this Ric Bucher has his own opinion on why that is. One of his claims to why "the people get so vicious" is because we're Mormons. I think this guy in the picture above is pretty harmless though. To paraphrase Bucher, he says that since we have to have a smile on our face all the time (being LDS), Jazz games are our one time to lash out, show aggression towards the opponent and a good time to cuss. I'm sure there are a fair share that are LDS not acting the way they should but this isn't why it is so hard to play in Salt Lake. Here's the link to Bucher's comments.

All in all, we're just dang (by the way, I would yell "dang" at the games too) good at home and got good fans to support the team! Fans that do stuff like this is just funny (the guy pickin' his nose here is also kinda funny.) Go Jazz!!!
